Work From Home Sales Representative

This is a Work From Home Sales Representative position with HMG Careers, and the work is straightforward to describe. We send you leads from people who have asked about insurance cover. You call them, arrange a Zoom meeting, talk through what is available, and help them enroll if it suits. No door knocking, no cold lists, no evenings spent chasing strangers.

Representatives work full-time from home. You will need an insurance licence to sell, and most people joining us do not have one on day one. We walk you through the licensing process and provide the training that follows it.

What you will be doing

• Contacting provided leads and setting up virtual appointments
• Understanding what each client needs before recommending anything
• Presenting benefit programmes clearly over video
• Guiding clients through enrollment and answering questions afterwards
• Keeping in regular contact with the people you have signed up
• Agreeing goals with your manager and hitting them consistently

What we ask of you

• Insurance licence held or in progress. We will help you get there
• Confident, clear communication and genuine interest in helping people
• Willingness to be coached and to keep learning
• Working laptop or computer, not a tablet or Chromebook
• Basic computer literacy
• Fluent English and primary residence in the US or Canada. Quebec is not open currently

The money

Pay is commission plus bonuses, not salary. Across the team, first year representatives average over $67,000 and second year representatives average $118,000. Renewal income adds to that as your client base grows. Your own figure depends on your production.
